TJs academy graduate Max Wheeler signs for TJs 1XV. Max was recently a pivotal part of the Academy’s National Cup winning squad and hopes to continue this winning streak in his first venture into adult rugby. Max has the ability to play both prop and hooker and at just 18 he has his whole rugby career ahead of him.

On the signing of Max, Head Coach Seb Sherwood said “We are delighted to have Max progress into the 1st Team. He trained with us for the majority of last season and probably would have got some game time if it wasn’t for him being under 18. Max has a great skillset around the park and has an incredible hunger to improve. We are really pleased to be able to play a part in Max’s development for what I am sure will be a big future.”
