Team work was the focus of the warm up drills mixing learning one another’s names with passing skills. With most of the girls from the two clubs having never played contact before all of the squad showed team spirit and helped one another on and off the pitch.

As the games progressed so did the level of skills being performed. The girls improved in every match and it made for a great day of fun and new friendships were formed.

Seeing so many Year 4 girls playing rugby at one event was fantastic. The parents and coaches commented on how well the team performed and collectively worked together throughout each match.
