TJ Stuart Thomas and chums are walking for The Brain Tumour Charity ahead of the N2E TJs v Canterbury game - if you can GIVE, please do

Stu is a past player for TJs and turned out for a TJ squad as recently as last season. His children Ciaran and Phoebe have both worn the TJ shirt with pride in recent seasons.
A few months ago Stu was diagnosed with a brain tumour and in his own inimitable way he is tackling it head on, almost literally.
As he treads a stoic, and at times humorous and always humbling, way forward for family, friends and himself he has somehow found a way to convince those able to walk a fair way to join him to raise money for charity.
Stu and his chums will be walking from somewhere East of TJs beside the River Medway to the Club in time for the Kick Off against Canterbury at 3pm on Saturday 19th October
Stu will be carrying the match ball so will be under considerable pressure to make it on time although we doubt very much that he will pass it during the journey - he never used to.
There's a lot we could add here but we will do that after the walk has been completed and Stu and others have been able to share their shared experience and why they were doing the walk on the day itself and why your support will make such a difference
If you can make it to the game on the 19th and donate (bring some cash if you can but don't tell anyone) that would be fantastic and very much appreciated by Stu and more.
But you don't have to wait until then and you can read more about Stu's effort and more on his Just Giving page
Hopefully we can all find a way to support Stu
