Round 2 of TJs N2E season sees our first away game and first ever showing at Colchester's fantastic facility and 3G pitch.
TJs make the journey north in buoyant mood after an exciting Round 1 encounter at The Slade and a 45-31 defeat of Dorking. TJs handed debuts to multiple players and out-scored Dorking five tries to four with Tom White and Sam Evans combining well with the boot to convert four and add four more penalties between them to make the final difference
Colchester, promoted last season, had a very different Round 1 experience in a 53-13 reverse away at Canterbury and they will be hoping that a strong home showing will be enough to keep TJs at bay.
TJs make a number of changes to the match day squad with Matteo Petrozzi and Sam Evans combining at half backs and Ryan Taylor-Dennehy coming in at Full Back with one of last Saturday's stand out performers Howard Packman moving to the right wing where he will be looking to add to his brace of tries from last time out. On the other wing Curtis Barnes will also be looking to add to his opening hat trick of tries
TJs showed a real hunger for the ball and pretty much everything they tried came off against Dorking and they will travel hoping that they can continue in the same vein. Kick off is at 3pm
